This year, CC Bloom is excited to introduce Petals & Pottery, a hands-on creative workshop led by the talented Alix Parisotto. Attendees will craft their own unique vase from a raw clay slab, learning the art of hand-building while surrounded by the beauty of the farm.
To ensure a more immersive experience, participants will be divided into two smaller groups—one will begin with the pottery lesson from Alix, while the other embarks on a guided garden tour with Candice, exploring the seasonal blooms that will one day fill their vases. Midway through, the groups will switch, allowing everyone to enjoy both experiences fully. As they shape their pieces, guests can sip on complimentary prosecco, adding a touch of relaxation to the creative process. Alix will then take the vases to dry and kiln fire, returning them to the farm in 3-4 weeks. Upon pickup, each participant will receive their finished piece, now filled with freshly cut blooms from CC Bloom—bringing their artistry full circle with nature’s finest touch.

Alix took a community pottery class in 2018 and has been hooked ever since! Over the years, she has worked hard to cultivate a unique style that marries form and function with the goal for customers to be able to build their collection over time. After years of focusing on production and sales she has recently added teaching classes to her schedule trying to excite people about pottery the way it excites her and to show that you don’t need any prior skills or experience to try something new and creative.
