Summer Love Market FAQ
Summer Love is the Okanagan’s exclusive, inclusive, most intimate market. With some of the best handmade, local artists, makers and small shops. Summer Love Market started in 2019, kicking off the grand opening for CC Bloom Flower Farm. The market is co-hosted by Kim with Sand and Stone Jewelry. Each year the Summer Love Market changes and grows to better promote community and small business from Western Canada. We can’t wait to stop and smell the roses with you at our next Summer Love Market!
SLM always takes place on the 2nd Saturday of August from 10am until 4pm. Afterwards we also have our night market from 6pm until 9pm.
Our next SLM will be on August 9th, 2025!
SLM is held at CC Bloom Flower Farm in Armstrong, BC Canada.

The night market is an extension of the Summer Love Market, designed to capture our beautiful summer nights in the Okanagan. After the regular day market, which runs from 10am - 4pm, we will close for a couple of hours to give our vendors a break, grab a bite to eat and transform our space. Then reopen for a dazzling evening of more local shopping and socializing from 6pm-9pm.
Vendors may choose to stay on-site or leave during this break. Guests/Patrons will not be permitted in market areas during this time for security reasons. Guests who have attended the day-time market can return for the night-market at no additional admission cost.Our Fall & Winter markets are Free Admission to the public. Our Summer Love Market is a $5.00 admission fee, which simply goes towards all of the event costs and helps us continue our market each season, supporting small business & local makers. Each year, a percentage of admission fees are donated to a chosen, local non-profit or community member in need.
We notify all applicants of their application status via email by March 1st. Those who submitted applications received after the deadline will only be notified in the event that their waitlist application is successful.
In the email that notifies you of your acceptance, Candice will include a link and password that will take you to a secure page on the CC Bloom Flower Farm website where you can add the Vendor Fee shop item to your cart and pay via credit card or PayPal.
All vendors must supply their own table/seating/linens for under a provided setup 10’x10’ tent, enough stock to last 8+ hours and serve over 4,000 guests, and all the water and snacks it takes to get through a busy day!
We consider a range of factors when choosing market vendors. These include product category, artistic merit, business practices, presentation and originality. It truly is our passion to showcase up and coming amazing small businesses, and our market gives us the opportunity every year to highlight 50!
We hope your supply estimates are accurate and you don’t sell out! In any case, all vendors are required to remain fully set up and present at their tent for the entirety of the market. It is important that our guests do not feel like they have missed out on the Summer Love experience before it is even over. Please use the opportunity to network with the guests and other neighbouring vendors while you wait.
Door prize items range from the different products you carry, examples include small leather goods, jewelry, candle, soaps and lotions, food samples, product samples, and creatively branded goods. Promo products or discount codes etc. are not accepted as grand door prize items. Each vendor is required to contribute one item for an amazing door prize to be won by one of our visitors on the day of the market.
Vendor fees are non refundable. No exceptions.
